Perception and Effects of New HRM Practices
New human resource management (HRM) strategies, like high-commitment or high-performance work systems, are increasingly considered as a new standard for an efficient and productive handling of employees. However, it is still uncertain whether these new strategies lead to new labour standards for improved well-being. The aim of this project is to analyse how different HRM strategies are experienced and interpreted by employees and what effects they have on employees’ well-being. This also refers to employees’ motivation and ability to work, which can only be guaranteed through a sustainable and socially responsible treatment of employees.
